Participate in a Security Council election

  1. Start from the active Security Council election thread on the official Governance Forum.
  2. Record the election identifier, candidate slate, voting window, and canonical vote link from that thread before connecting your wallet.
  3. Connect the wallet that holds DDX voting power or delegated votes.
  4. Review the candidate materials, role description, and any linked proposal or implementation context before submitting a vote.
  5. Open the public election surface linked from that same thread, cast the vote there, and save the election identifier plus transaction hash or receipt immediately.
  6. Refresh the election view and confirm your vote is recorded for the correct wallet and candidate selection.

Verify the election context first

  • election title or identifier matches the forum and voting surfaces
  • candidate list matches the current public election thread
  • your wallet has the intended voting power or delegation state
  • the public route clearly indicates whether the result is advisory, on-chain, or already queued for execution

Boundary rule

This page is for the public election workflow only. It does not document private vetting, internal operational controls, or any unpublished Security Council procedures.

If the election route is unclear

If the election thread does not expose a current public voting surface, stop and use Support Channels rather than guessing the active path.
